We suggest having a professional seamstress, family member, or friend take your measurements for the best results. We do not recommend customers take their measurements personally - they will be wrong. Use a vinyl tape-measure; fabric ones tend to stretch over time and your dress will be ordered too small. When you measure, bare foot without shoes and give us the heel height similar to what you plan to wear on the Wedding/Party Day by Purchasing Remark (You can find it after you put dress in Shopping Cart) or Contact Us if you want, wear a similar bra or bustier.

a. Size Issues

As all of our dresses are hand-sewn and custom-tailored, the finished gown may vary by approximately 1 inch in either direction of the specified measurements. To ensure that your item will still fit you perfectly, our tailors have created all our dresses with additional fabric in the seams to allow minor size modifications to be made easily.

(1) Item is not the size you ordered: If you are sure the dress was made in wrong size, please send photos of your measurements and you wearing the dress. we encourage you to find a local tailor to make alteration, as long as we can confirm the size is wrong, we will gladly reimburse you up to 50% of the product price. Please remember to request a receipt from your tailor as a copy of it must be provided when requesting reimbursement. Please send us the copy of the receipt by email.

(2) Item is the size you ordered but does not fit: As our dresses are made with additional fabric in the seams, you can make minor adjustments at a local tailor, at your own cost.

b. Color Mis-matching

(1) Color difference might exist because of different screen resolutions. Slight color mismatch between the real color and the screen color may not mean the item is defective. We have made every effort to match the true color to the screen color. Your understanding will be greatly appreciated.

(2) If you are confident that you have received a wrong color item (for example, you ordered white, but we sent you black), please contact Customer Service Dep. and send photos of the dress for us to confirm the color. As long as we confirm the color is wrong, we will make the correct color dress for you for free.

You can choose a standard size or give us your custom measurements. Please view our Size Charts Prior to selecting your size to order, we suggest reviewing the information provided in How to Measure. Even if there is some fluctuation in the size you need, all our dresses are made with a margin for modification or alteration. The modification or alteration can be made by your local tailor.

6. What modifications and alterations are normally done to a dress to make it fit?

A number of alterations can be made:
--Side seams and Back Seams - The side seams and back seam in the torso can be taken in or let out to make a wedding dress fit a bride. This is true even for gowns ordered to size. Wedding gowns are usually made to allow the side seams to be let out up to 3 inches or 1-2 sizes.
Additionally, the back seam often can be let out slightly to size up further.
--Shoulders - It is also common for shoulder seams to be taken in to bring up a gown.
--Hem - The length of a dress can be shortened only and is affected by the height of the shoe you are planning to wear. Some gowns can only be shortened from the waist. Other gowns can only be shortened by taking up the hemline.
--Bustle - The bustle is a way to hook the train up in the back so that the dress can be worn comfortably after the ceremony. Bustling a dress is part of the alterations for any gown that has an attached train.

It will take 8-18 working days to tailor your dresse by the professional dressmaker. Also it will take about 2-8 working days for the package to travel from our facilities to your destination, the exact shipping time is based on the shipping company (UPS, DHL, TNT, etc.) standard. There might be a slight difference between the actual dress’ color and what you see in the photo depending on your computer monitor’s display settings.

14. Why can't I choose my desired courier?

We will take into consideration many factors including country difference, time difference and other conditions, and use our discretion in choose the most appropriate courier service to ship your products to you. All we need from our customers is the time frame in which they desire to receive their products, and we will choose the courier according to that requirement.

15. How do I save on shipping?

Due to the high price of international shipping, we suggest our customers to buy everything they want in one order. That way, the per-item shipping cost could be minimized.
If you can wait a little longer, please choose the standard shipping method, it will be much cheaper than using express shipping.
